Fathers and daughters danced the weekend away in Franklin Park.

The daddy-daughter dance at North Park attracted 206 participants on Feb. 6 and 7. Fathers got boutonnieres, daughters got carnations and both got framed photos of themselves on the dance floor.

“This is our third year of offering it on two nights,” said Phyllis Schmidt, Park District of Franklin Park program director. “It continues to grow every year.”
