“Outlander” fans got a little reprieve from the drought of new episodes of the hit series when Starz released seven photos and a trailer for the second half of the show’s first season.

“The wait is over,” says the trailer, but we do have several weeks left before it returns. The series, based on Diana Gabaldon’s romantic, time-traveling adventure novels, isn’t back until 8 p.m. April 4 on Starz. The last original episode aired Sept. 27, so it’s been quite awhile for fans who are experiencing what has been coined a “droughtlander.”

One of the photos and the trailer show Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) reunited in bed—which should please all the shippers out there. When we left off, the recently married couple were separated when Claire was captured by evil Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies), but Jamie came to her rescue.

The trailer recaps Jamie saving his wife, but later shows the couple fighting, Claire being locked up, Jamie fighting in a gun duel and with his sword. There are explosions, another whipping and plenty of other dramatic teases, including Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek) grilling Claire about how she ended up in the Scottish Highlands in the first place. We also get a first look at Laura Donnelly as Jamie’s sister, Jenny Fraser.

Fans will get another sneak preview during the Jan. 24 Season 2 premiere of the pirate drama “Black Sails.”
