A 20-year-old Plainfield woman was found dead Saturday night in a hotel room in unincorporated Aurora, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
Karly L. Jackson, of the 23000 block of Link Lane, was found by police at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday after authorities received a call about an unresponsive woman in a room at the Council Courts Motel in the 1000 block of U.S. Route 30, according to the sheriff’s office.
The responding sheriff’s deputy and an Oswego police officer commenced CPR on Jackson until paramedics arrived and took her to Rush-Copley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
An autopsy was conducted Monday but officials are awaiting the results of a toxicology report before a cause of death is issued, according to Kane County Deputy Coroner Loren Carrera.
The toxicology report is expected to take about three weeks, Carrera said.
Kane County is handling the autopsy since Jackson was pronounced dead at a hospital within its jurisdiction.

Sheriff’s Office officials said the death appears to be an isolated incident and that the investigation is ongoing.
