A Bolingbrook man was arrested Sunday evening after he allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old boy at a McDonald’s.
Delarian L. Jones, 26, of the 400 block of Gainsborough Court, was allegedly harassing female patrons in the restaurant at 100 North Bolingbrook Drive at about 6:50 p.m., police said.
A 17-year-old male intervened and the two got into a fight before Jones stabbed the teen in the upper arm, according to police.
Jones fled but was apprehended a short distance from the McDonald’s.
Jones suffered minor injuries in the fight, and both he and the teen were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Jones is charged with felony aggravated battery and unlawful use of a weapon, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office.
He remained in jail on $75,000 bail as of Tuesday afternoon.
