Detectives are trying to find a man who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in the Park Manor neighborhood late this morning, police said.
The girl was in an alley about 11:45 a.m. in the 400 block of East 71st Street when a man on a bike came up to her, said Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.

The man, described as between the ages of 20 and 30, forcibly removed the girl’s pants and sexually assaulted the girl, according to police. After the assault, the man fled, and the girl sought help.
The girl was taken to Comer Children’s hospital for evaluation and treatment, Zala said.
A detailed description of the attacker was not immediately available. Area Central detectives were investigating and anyone who may know the man or anything about the attack is asked to call police.
