player ready...Wi-Fi provider Gogo’s international expansion is taking off, as its first Japan Airlines flight equipped with inflight Internet took off today and the company recently gained approval to provide its service over Russia.
The Itasca-based aircraft communications company eight months ago secured a contract to provide Wi-Fi services to the Japanese airline’s domestic fleet – a total of 77 planes. Japan Airlines was the company’s first airline partner based outside North America.
