Producers are Tribeca’s Jane Rosenthal with FilmNation’s Aaron Ryder and Karen Lunder. CAA is repping domestic rights.
Story, based on Ann Leary’s novel “The Good House,” is being adapted by Michael Cunningham.
Streep will portray a New England realtor who re-kindles her relationship with a man (De Niro) who tries to make her life less complicated. Streep and De Niro starred in 1978â?’s “The Deer Hunter,” 1984â?’s “Falling In Love” and 1996â?’s “Marvin’s Room.”
Berry Welsh will exec produce with FilmNation partner Steve Samuels.
