player ready...With its various festivals and week-long events honoring its greatness, craft beer has been having quite a time of it lately. Well, craft spirits want in on the party.
Next week, the first Chicago Craft Spirits Week begins, which will include 20 events dedicated to whiskey, gin, mezcal, absinthe and other tasty things. The big event, however, will be Wednesday — the Independent Spirits Expo, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at Carmichael’s Warehouse in the West Loop.
