Miami, Fla. – We all now know that Chuck Norris, the martial arts movie star, has a problem with Sen. John McCain’s age.
“I didn’t pick John to support because I’m just afraid that the vice president would wind up taking over his job in that four-year presidency,” Norris said Sunday before hosting a fundraiser for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 52, at his Lone Wolf Ranch.
Today, McCain was asked about the 67-year-old Norris’s criticism during a stop at Versailles, the famed Cuban restaurant here that all politicians must visit if they want the Cuban American vote in South Florida.
“I’m afraid I may have to send my 95-year-old mother over and wash Chuck’s mouth out with soap,” he said, using his trademark humor to deflect the matter.
