1. Michigan at Illinois, 7 p.m. Saturday, WLS-Ch. 7: It should be a crazy night in Champaign as the Illini go national. Now let’s see if the team is ready for prime time.
2. Bears at Philadelphia, 3:15 p.m. Sunday, WFLD-Ch. 32: This originally was slated to be the main doubleheader game for Fox. But with the Bears slipping to 2-4, the network opted for Minnesota-Dallas instead. Now only 14 percent of the country will see the Bears.
3. Tampa Bay at Detroit, noon Sunday, WFLD-Ch. 32: The Bears host Detroit on Oct. 28, so here’s a chance to do some advance scouting.
4. Penn State at Indiana,
11 a.m. Saturday, ESPN: Penn State is coming off a big victory, while the Hoosiers are coming off a big loss. Indiana needs a victory to become bowl-eligible.
5. USC at Notre Dame, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, WMAQ-Ch. 5: For old time’s sake, it’s probably worth checking in on this one. Hopefully, no announcer will say, “Throw away the records when these two teams meet … “
