Brett Favre is only the second quarterback to amass 400 touchdown passes, needing 19 more to pass Dan Marino’s 420 and become the all-time leader. Nineteen more would give Favre 25 for the season, a realistic number. He topped 25 in nine of his first 15 seasons. Marino isn’t the only Hall of Famer whom Favre could eclipse. Favre also has thrown 258 interceptions and would overtake all-time leader George Blanda with 20 more. That’s also realistic for Favre. He has thrown 23 or more interceptions four times, including 29 last season. Favre ranks fifth all time, with Vinny Testaverde, Fran Tarkenton and John Hadl between him and Blanda. So which comes first for Favre: 19 touchdown passes or 20 interceptions?
