Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Apparently, you can spell Rose A-B-C-D. Simeon guard Derrick Rose, a consensus top-five player nationally in the class of 2007, is in New Jersey and confirmed for this weekend’s Reebok ABCD camp. The controversy? Rose’s Amateur Athletic Union team is sponsored by Nike and thus he was expected to play at this weekend’s Nike Camp in Indianapolis. The prime motivations for the change? Many of his AAU teammates received invites to ABCD from Reebok, and Rose’s attendance at ABCD sets up an anticipated showdown with O.J. Mayo, the Cincinnati guard and two-time Ohio player of the year rated the consensus No. 1 player in the upcoming senior class.
