Top Fire Department officers will receive a 12 percent pay increase over three years under a contract ratified by the Village Board Tuesday. The contract gives the department’s three battalion chiefs and three fire captains a 3.8 percent increase for 2004, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2004. Increases for this year and 2006 are each 4.2 percent.
