The Sox have these tips for fans coming to the Cell:

– Arrive early. “We would hate for people to miss the pregame,” team spokeswoman Katie Kirby said.

– Take public transit to the game. You’ll save at least $16.50 in parking costs.

– Regular-season rules apply on contraband items: No bottles, cans, coolers or other liquid containers will be allowed in the park. Food is allowed in small, clear plastic bags. Any other bags you bring must be no larger than 16-by-16-by-8 inches.
