Former “Last Comic Standing” finalist Ralphie May is lining up some more TV work within the realm of reality shows.

May has shot a pilot for a comedy series called “Baggin’, ” named after the art of cutting people down with one-liners. Producer Claude Brooks is set to take it to cable networks.

” ‘Baggin’ ‘ is a fresh flip on stand-up comedy. It’s where ‘Def Comedy Jam’ meets ‘The Friars Club Roast,’ ” Brooks (UPN’s “Second Time Around”) tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I think that the talent pool for this type of show is neverending because there is a kid on a street corner in every urban city working on new bags.”

The show would bring together amateur insult comics from various backgrounds for baggin’ showdowns in front of an audience, who determine the winner of each faceoff. May will host and throw in his own lines as he sees fit.

Just what the winners would receive, other than the satisfaction of an opponent cut down, is yet to be determined.
