The wretched weather at Balmoral Park couldn’t keep Kikikatie from embellishing her nearly flawless record in Saturday night’s $122,000 American-National 3-year-old filly pace.
“She’s one of the best,” trainer Joe Seekman said after last year’s North American 2-year-old filly titlist repelled a late challenge by Arbitration to win by 4 1/4 lengths. It was the second win in as many starts this year for Kikikatie, who won 14 of 15 races last year.
