Paul Reiser thinks he’s found the right person to star opposite Jeff Goldblum in the comedy pilot he’s making for NBC.

The actress he has in mind, however, would probably have to take a pay cut if she agrees to take part.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reiser has asked “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow about co-starring in “My 11:30,” a comedy he’s writing and executive producing for NBC. Goldblum stars as a businessman who seeks advice from a female therapist after suffering a meltdown.

Reiser and Kudrow worked together on NBC’s “Mad About You,” where she played daffy waitress Ursula Buffay–who, viewers later discovered, was the twin sister of Kudrow’s “Friends” character, Phoebe.

Kudrow is producing two pilots this season–an untitled comedy starring Aisha Tyler for CBS and a drama called “Beck and Call” for UPN.

Although she may not be looking for another sitcom role so soon after the end of “Friends,” The Hollywood Reporter says she is open to the idea of guest starring in the pilot for “My 11:30” or lending Reiser a hand in some other way.
