Proviso West junior Andrea Bankhead already has taken care of one of next year’s difficult decisions–where she’ll play college basket-ball. The 5-6 guard chose Wisconsin because “that’s where I really wanted to go.” Bank-head averaged 14 points and seven assists and has no problems with other numbers, either. “I love trig, I have an A in that class,” she said. “And honors physics.” Bankhead also picked up some lessons from cousins Khara Smith and Charlene Smith, who play at DePaul. “When I was younger, I had an attitude problem,” Bankhead said. “Like when I got bumped out on the court, I’d say `Hey, you fouled me.’ But they taught me to ignore the bumps. Just do what you’ve got to do in school and you’ll go far.”
