As the networks line up big names to topline new pilot projects, UPN is hoping Taye Diggs can boost its drama fortunes, while ABC is hoping that Tim Daly has another hit series in him. Meanwhile, Fox is proving that for Chyler Leigh, there’s life at the network after “girls club.”

Diggs will topline UPN’s drama “Kevin Hill” as a lawyer who has to give up his life in the fast lane to raise his young niece. Diggs also will serve as a producer.
Four years after the disappointment of CBS’ update of “The Fugitive,” Daly hopes to return to a regular prime-time home with “Eyes.” The former “Wings” star will play the president of a risk-management corporation.
Over on Fox, Leigh, who transitioned from the disastrous “girls club” to a brief stint on “The Practice,” will star in “Lucky Us.” Leigh, also one of the stars of the network’s equally unsuccessful “That ’80s Show,” will play a woman who has a baby with a man she met on a blind date.
