Chris Singletary scored 14 of his game-high 19 in the second half for the Admirals (17-2, 8-0), including two FTs with 18 seconds left. Randy Washington’s 16 points and Raymond Beacham’s 15 led Collins (9-10, 2-6).

Shawn Smith scored 15 and DeAndre Thomas added 14 for the Warriors (18-2, 8-0). Westinghouse played without Jamarcus Ellis, serving a one-game suspension after receiving two technical fouls Tuesday against Lincoln Park. Kendall McClellan paced Jones (10-11, 1-7) with 17.

Public Red Northwest

Jonathon Montgomery’s three-pointer and FT with 19 seconds left capped a 9-0 fourth-quarter run for the Lions (8-9, 4-4). Prosser led by 17 in the third, but missed five attempts to tie the game as time expired. Brandon Ely had 18 points, 10 rebounds for the Falcons (13-7, 2-6), while Michale Thompson led the Lions with 21.

Sterling Williams tallied eight of his 26 points during a 14-3 run in the first quarter for the Dolphins (12-6, 6-2). Emmanuel Tillman led Orr (11-10, 3-5) with 15 points.

Public Red South

The Mustangs (11-9, 5-3) overcame an 11-1 Harlan run in the fourth behind Raphael Scott’s 16 points, four assists. Andre Gullens had 22 points for Harlan (10-10, 2-6).

Fox Valley

A 12-for-16 FT performance in the fourth helped the Wolves (18-2, 3-0) hold on. Brett Cole scored 15 to lead Prairie Ridge, and Joe Babiarz added 13. Phil Wallace tossed in 23 points to lead C.L. South (15-4, 2-1).

Junior Jerwin Callaway tallied 28 points and Darryl Gibson added 13 for the Commandos (14-7, 5-3) prevailed. Demetrius Banks chipped in 10 for the win.

Candace Parker collected 27 points, 11 rebounds for the Redhawks (19-2, 10-0). Tiffany Hudson contributed 10 points, six assists for Naperville Central, while Libby Passiales scored 11 for Wheaton Warrenville South (15-8, 6-4).

The Ramblers (25-0) trailed 26-23 with 5:59 left in the third before going on a 16-0 run. Maggie Duggan and Brittany McCoy scored 14 and 13, respectively, for Loyola. Cassie Setala led Libertyville (12-11) with 10 points.

Erin Cattell and Jackie Storm each scored 12 as the Eagles (19-5, 9-0) cruised. Sandburg forced 23 TOs and Andrew didn’t score until 2:28 left in the first half.

Ali Muno drained a three-pointer at the buzzer–her only points of the game–giving the Hawks (20-4, 11-0) their only lead of the game. Waubonsie Valley (13-8, 8-3) led by 15 entering the fourth, but Bartlett battled back to tie the score 42-42 on Kaci Baird’s layup with 50 seconds left. Freshman Morgan Aycox scored 14 for Bartlett. Carlie Janowiak scored 15 for the Warriors.

Upstate Eight

Claire Sheehan scored 14 of her 24 in the second half to preserve the upset for the Saints (8-14, 5-6). Katie White collected 14 points, eight rebounds, seven blocks for St. Charles East. Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton posted 27 points, 13 rebounds for Neuqua Valley (16-6, 9-2). She hit a three-pointer with 09.2 seconds left to pull within 55-52, then had a possible tying three-pointer hit the side of the rim.

Cierra Thurman collected 20 points, seven rebounds to pace the Thunderbirds (18-3, 5-1). Danae Russell scored 17 for Thornwood, and Shari Welton added 13 points, eight rebounds. Nate Hughes scored 12 to lead Bloom.

Kristi Cirone scored 23–including four free throws in the final 19 seconds–as the Bandits (17-7) held on. A pair of Cirone FT put Resurrection up 43-39, but Lake Forest’s Kristen Cartwright sank a three-pointer with three seconds left to make it a one-point game. Cirone hit two more FT, and the Scouts’ desperation three-point attempt was no good. Cartwright led Lake Forest with 18 points.

Yinka Sanni collected 16 points, 11 rebounds, five steals, four blocks–and scored the 1,000th point of her career–as the Vikings (14-6) rolled. Sharmain Washington posted 17 points, 10 rebounds for Homewood-Flossmoor. Heather King scored 10 to lead Stagg (17-5).
