Two of America’s favorite ectomorphs come together in Stanley Donen’s 1957 film “Funny Face.” Debonair Fred Astaire is a fashion photographer who discovers waiflike Audrey Hepburn, who is a clerk in a New York City bookstore. He whisks her off to Paris, where he snaps her dressed in gorgeous designer gowns. Gershwin tunes add to the romantic fun and games.

Max Palevsky Cinema, Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th St., Doc Films: “Funny Face,” 7 p.m. Wed., $4; 773-702-8575.
