It’s safe to say that Buddy Holly’s “Not Fade Away” is not one of Lindsay Schrader’s favorite songs. Because the 6-foot Bartlett junior has become proficient at using the fadeaway jump shot. “My parents keep yelling at me because I fade too much,” said Schrader, a second-team Tribune all-state selection as a sophomore. “Whatever the defense gives me,” Schrader said. “If they’re really close on me, I’m going to drive by them.” If she’s upset about one thing, it’s that girls basketball fans think Bartlett is a one-girl team. “Everybody says I’m the only girl,” Schrader said, “but we’ve got a great point guard (Kim Ebbesen), an awesome forward (Casey Baird) and then there’s Jenna (Mallory) down low.”
