Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The science behind the game of baseball is explored in a program called The Physics of Baseball at the Adler Planetarium & Science Museum. Families will find out what a pitcher has to do to throw a curve ball, where the so-called sweet spot is found on the bat and what it takes to hit a home run, thanks to the traveling Chicago White Sox Training Camp.

White Sox great Minnie Minoso will be on hand to sign autographs and perhaps give some hints of his own about how to play a winning game. The evening also includes sky shows, special demonstrations and hands-on activities.
