LAST GOOD MOVIE YOU SAW: “Heist.” I love David Mamet. He has cornered the market for mess-with-your-mind movies.
CDs YOU’RE LISTENING TO: I’ve got to say I’m really feeling Michael Jackson’s “Invincible.” I also like all the “nouveau soul”: Jill Scott’s “Who Is Jill Scott?”; Erykah Badu’s “Mama’s Gun”; Alicia Keys’ “Songs in A Minor”; and anything by Jamiroquai, Maxwell, Black-Eyed Peas and Lenny Kravitz.
BOOK YOU’RE READING: James Lee Burke’s “Sunset Limited.” I love the pictures this mystery writer paints with his words and the fact that I can’t ever guess “whodunit” with his stories. My favorite thing about him is that he’s from my hometown of New Iberia, La., and he most often sets his novels there.
RADIO SHOW YOU MAKE A POINT OF LISTENING TO: Is this a trick question? Seriously, I do love WBEZ jazz at night.
