Seven candidates have officially filed petitions for three Village Board seats for the April 3 consolidated election.
Village clerk Linda K. Gonnella said the number of candidates who filed came as a bit of a surprise. “This is the largest number to my knowledge,” Gonnella said.
Incumbents George Caleel, William Kenny and Gerald O. McInerney are running to for re-election. Their opponents in the election will be Dave Fichter, Susan Chase Korin, Elaine Miologos and Asif Yusuf.
