Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Britney Spears may snag all the magazine covers these days, but for sheer popular endurance she’s just barely ahead of outlaw duo Montgomery Gentry, whose album “Tattoos and Scars” has been on the country charts for more than 60 weeks. Along with veterans Travis Tritt and Randy Travis, plus western-swing revivalists Jon Langford and the Pine Valley Cosmonauts, Kelly Hogan, Hot Club of Cowtown and Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys, the Gentry boys headline the 10th annual Chicago Country Music Festival, beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday in Grant Park. (It’s tucked inside Taste of Chicago; for details about the food side of Taste of Chicago, checkout today’s Dining page.) Free. 312-744-3370.
