A 24-year-old Aurora woman died Monday after the vehicle she was driving crossed the center line on 111th Street in Naperville and struck a minivan, Naperville police said.
Charlotte L. Blackburn, of the 1100 block of Douglas Avenue, was pronounced dead at Edward Hospital in Naperville after a two-car accident on 111th east of 248th Street about 10:40 a.m., said Sgt. James Bedell.
Police were investigating why her 1991 Pontiac Grand Am crossed the center line on the busy two-lane road and struck a delivery van driven by Maurice Phillips, 35, of Aurora. His Hanson Mattress van went off the road and rolled in a ditch, Bedell said. Phillips was treated and released.
