Lincoln-Way High School Board members last week approved a budget for the 1999-2000 school year.

Expenditures in the budget’s three operating funds, educational, building and transportation, are expected to total $29.9 million, a 4.2 percent increase over the 1998-99 school year, according to Supt. Lawrence Wyllie.

The budget projects expenditures of $24.9 million from the educational fund; $3.1 million from the building fund; $1.9 million from the transportation fund; $4.8 million from the bond and interest fund; $689,972 from the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund; and $568,717 from the tort immunity fund.
