The Village Board this week approved three business development plans.
A $2.5 million industrial revenue bond issue approved by trustees Tuesday will enable Metropolitan Industries, a manufacturer of water pumps, to expand, said Village Manager Jim Smithberg.
The company will use $500,000 to buy land south of Normantown Road and east of U.S. Highway 53 and $2 million for construction.

The bonds do not obligate the village financially.
The board also approved a site and landscape plan submitted by CM Realty Co. for a proposed 69,000-square-foot office and warehouse building in the Marquette Center for Business and Industry. A site and location plan for a proposed gas-recovery operation at the Willow Ranch Landfill gained board approval, as well.
