The eight-year-old Chicago International Antiques Show and Works on Paper Fair, which normally takes place each fall at Navy Pier, has officially been canceled this year, confirming many rumors that the event was on shaky legs.
”Upon careful consideration, The Lakeside Group, producer of the Chicago International Antiques Show and Works on Paper Fair, has decided to postpone the event until 1994,” said Tom Blackman, executive director of the Lakeside Group.

”We are going to restructure the event and hopefully reopen the show to coincide with the opening of the new exhibition facilities at Navy Pier in 1994.”
