Maryanne C. Buss-Kincaid OBITUARY

76, longtime resident of Oak Lawn, passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert “BK” Kincaid; loving mother of Coryanne (Brian) Ross; cherished grandmother Tyler and Zoey Ross; dearest sister of Ida “Snooker” Pogue-Smith, Judy (late Donald) Paul, Michelle (Rick) Flory, and the late Ralph Jr. (late Sue) Massett; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, loyal friends, and extended Kincaid family.

Maryanne was a business owner for over 50 years. She was a dedicated mortuary beautician for decades at many funeral homes throughout Chicago’s South Side. All the funeral homes Maryanne served remember her with gratitude and affection for the meticulous care she took to ensure loved ones looked their best. Maryanne was known to many for her larger-than-life personality. She was always the life of the party, a fashionista, a wine connoisseur, and took great pride in her career as a beautician. She had a heart of gold and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Maryanne enjoyed spending time outside in the summer, tending to her garden, and being in the sun. She absolutely cherished her occasional lunch trips with her girlfriends and adored her dogs, especially her pugs. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 3 to 8 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes.
