Update: According to Broadway in Chicago, Thursday “Hamilton” shows will play as scheduled as of Wednesday afternoon.
Cold weather has officially squelched the city’s hottest show. Due to extreme weather conditions, the Jan. 30 matinee and evening performances of “Hamilton” in Chicago have been canceled.
Don’t worry — audiences can still be satisfied.
Patrons with tickets to the canceled performance should contact their point of purchase for an exchange to another Wednesday performance before March 27, 2019, based on availability. All exchanges must be requested before Friday, February 8, 2019.
