But it’s actually pretty simple: You’re going to want about a pound to a pound and a half per person. While the goal is to stuff your face on Thanksgiving, each individual isn’t actually expected to eat 24 ounces of turkey that day. That weight also takes into account the turkey carcass, giblets and an ample amount of leftovers.
