Blair-Sherlock’s Republican opponent in 2024 and 2022, believing Springfield needed more fiscally responsible voices. Blair-Sherlock tends to toe the Democratic party line in Springfield.

We haven’t heard much directly from either candidate this cycle. We would’ve liked to endorse a fiscal conservative alternative in this district, but Mendoza has not mounted much of a campaign and thus we cannot be sure what voters would be getting should he win the election.
