2. Oswego 5-1 (2): Interceptions by Jake Walsh and Cam Loghmani and two fumble recoveries from Caden Cooney key Foxes’ 44-21 Southwest Prairie West win over Yorkville.

3. Batavia 4-2 (3): Quarterback duel between two Division I recruits in Batavia’s Michael Vander Luitgaren (Wyoming) and Geneva’s Ben Peterson (Eastern Michigan) was an instant classic.

4. Kaneland 5-1 (5): First two passes by Brody Guthrie were intercepted but he completes 4 of 6 for 202 yards and 72-yard TD to Colton VanDyke in rallying Knights to 28-20 win at Rochelle.

5. Aurora Christian 5-1 (7): Junior running back Jalen Callaway produces three TD runs, securing program career record with 44 TDs and lifting Eagles to 34-16 win over Christ the King.

6. Jacobs 5-1 (4): Owen Crouch snags TD catch from Austin Stennett late in game as only score for Golden Eagles in 47-6 loss to Huntley with first place on the line in Fox Valley Conference.

7. Burlington Central 4-2 (8): Wagner Viebrock returns opening kickoff 93 yards for TD to set the tone for the Rockets, who manage to hold off Hampshire in 13-6 Fox Valley Conference win.

8. St. Charles North 3-3 (10): Tommy Vendl runs for 150 yards and two TDs, helping the North Stars snap three-game DuKane Conference losing streak in holding off St. Charles East 28-27.

9. St. Charles East 3-3 (9): Saints rallied from 28-14 deficit to within 28-27 in final three minutes but come up short of first crosstown win in seven years on incomplete 2-point conversion pass.

10. South Elgin 5-1 (NR): The Storm gets two early TD passes from Carter McDonald in 48-0 rout of Streamwood, setting up battle for first place in Upstate Eight West on Friday at West Aurora.

Offensive Player of the Week

Senior fullback Graham Schwab, taking over at running back for injured Ammar Banire, runs for 84 yards and two TDs, throws TD pass to senior quarterback Drew Kleinhans and catches 2-point conversion pass from Kleinhans in Oswego’s 44-21 win at Yorkville.

Defensive Player of the Week

Senior linebacker Braden Fraus posts five tackles and scores a pair of TDs for West Aurora, one on a 15-yard fumble recovery and one on a 12-yard pick six, in 49-6 win over visiting Larkin.
