1. Marist 15-2 (1): In Las Vegas, Kate Steinmetz and RedHawks win 25-21, 25-22 over Xavier of Arizona, ranked No. 6 in nation, and battle in 30-28, 25-21 loss to No. 2 Mater Dei of Arizona.

2. Mother McAuley 16-2 (2): Youngtown State commit Ava Calle is lights out on defense as Mighty Macs win 25-18, 25-19 over Loyola in inaugural Friday Night Lights outdoor match.

3. Lincoln-Way East 11-4 (4): Illinois recruit Kolby Ross and Ashlee Palmer make the all-tournament team at Wheaton Classic after leading the Griffins to a second-place finish.

4. Lockport 14-4 (3): Senior libero Emma Consigny lifts heavy load for the Porters with a team-high 134 digs and 18 aces. Plus, she has chipped in with 52 set assists.

5. St. Laurence 11-4 (6): Tournament MVP Aubrey Martinez and Abby Ambrose, who is named all-tournament, team up as Vikings win the Spartan Classic in Oak Lawn for third year in a row.

6. Chicago Christian 14-4 (7): Kambry James and the Knights are heading south to tackle some tough teams Friday and Saturday in the Champaign Central SETtember Fest Invite.

7. Joliet Catholic 9-6 (NR): The setter/right-side hitter duo of sophomore Ella Horn and senior Maggie Tibbott boost the resurgent Angels to a five-match winning streak.

8. Providence 15-3 (5): Freshman outside hitter Brenna Garrigan and junior middle hitter Lily Lipke are named all-tournament at Spartan Classic as Celtics bounce back to take second place.

9. Lincoln-Way Central 13-7 (9): Senior right-side hitter Stella Davis is named to the Spartan Classic’s all-tournament team as the Knights produce a third-place finish.

10. Lemont 13-8 (NR): Sophomore middle hitter Jayna Huff continues to dazzle, leading the only unbeaten team in South Suburban Conference with a .435 attack percentage and 25 blocks.

Player of the Week

Senior outside hitter Taylor Berg gets named to the 64-team Durango Classic all-tournament team. The Western Michigan recruit helps Marist to the gold bracket and a tie for seventh place.
