Dogstar, an alternative rock band featuring actor Keanu Reeves, will perform at the event center at Hollywood Casino Aurora on Oct. 17, officials with the casino said.
Dogstar features guitarist and lead vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and Reeves, who plays bass, according to a press release from Hollywood Casino Aurora on Thursday.
The band returned to the stage in 2023, following a 20-year hiatus, the release said.
“We’re kicking off a new chapter for live entertainment in Aurora, and bringing Dogstar to our stage is a great way to do it,” Greg Moore, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino Aurora, said in the press release. “Our new event center gives us the opportunity to bring plenty of high-energy, memorable performances to the community.”
Other acts that will be performing at the event center at Hollywood Casino Aurora include the Marshall Tucker Band on Aug. 28, Ben Bankas on Sept. 6, Eli Young Band on Oct. 23 and Puddle of Mudd on Oct. 24.
Tickets for each show can be purchased via Ticketmaster, the release said. For more information on tickets and events, go to www.hollywoodcasinoaurora.com/entertainment.
