Kenneth Doumbia, 31, was shot in the neck and killed early Saturday morning in Flossmoor, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Doumbia’s was pronounced dead at 4:22 a.m. Saturday, the medical examiner’s office said. His address was unknown.
There was a gathering at the address on the 1700 block of Princeton Road where the shooting took place, Flossmoor police Chief Carl Estelle said.
No one had been arrested or charged as of Tuesday, Estelle said. Detectives are following leads, he said, and the investigation is ongoing.
