The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

  • A 22-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with expired license plates, driving without insurance and loud excessive noise caused by a muffler or lack thereof at 7:23 a.m. Aug. 6 at West Ogden and Aurora avenues.
  • A 51-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on two counts of public indecency/lewd exposure and one count of public indecency/sex act or conduct near school grounds at 10:36 a.m. Aug. 6 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
  • A 32-year-old woman from Franklin Park was arrested on charges of driving on a revoked license and driving on registration suspended for non-insurance at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 6 at South Route 59 and McCoy Drive.
  • A 27-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, disregarding a traffic control signal, improper lane usage, improper lighting and speeding at 1:33 a.m. Aug. 7 at West Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive.
  • A 23-year-old woman from Aurora was arrested on a warrant at 6:24 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2500 block of West 75th Street.
  • A 25-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on a charge of attempted retail theft not exceeding $300 at 6:24 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2500 block of West 75th Street.
  • A 28-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with canceled, suspended or revoked registration at 11:55 p.m. Aug. 7 at Aurora Avenue and South Main Street.
  • A 45-year-old woman from Plainfield was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver, speeding and improper lighting at 1:11 a.m. Aug. 8 at Jennifer Lane and Weber Road in Bolingbrook.
  • A 56-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested on charges of attempted aggravated assault on an officer and obstructing identification at 11:57 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
