A holiday pop-up to be called Christmas on the Fox will be held at Pollyanna Brewing Company in downtown St. Charles beginning Nov. 19, organizers said.

According to organizers, the “immersive holiday experience,” to run through Dec. 31, will be inspired by the Fox River and the nostalgic charm of a Midwest Christmas. The pop-up will include holiday decor, special cocktails, seasonal food and holiday programming for all ages, officials said in a press release.

For co-creators Caroline and Tony Galzin, Christmas on the Fox is also personal: Tony grew up in St. Charles, his family still lives in the community, and the couple spends much of their time there, according to the release. In partnership with Chicago-based bar service Present Tense, they are bringing their experience creating immersive holiday destinations to Pollyanna.

The pop-up with include photo opportunities throughout the taproom, a rotating calendar of family-friendly and adult programming, including Movies with Santa, a holiday-themed Chicago Bears game-day party, a Christmas Light Concert Series, themed entertainment and more, organizers said.

“St. Charles will always be a second home for us,” said Tony Galzin in the release. “I grew up here, my family is still here and we spend so much of our time in this area. It has been wonderful collaborating with … the Pollyanna team to create something that feels genuinely connected to the community.”
