A motorcyclist and a 9-year-old girl passenger were both left in critical condition overnight after colliding with another vehicle in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 1 a.m., a 36-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl were headed east on the 6700 block of South Damen Avenue when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a SUV headed south on Damen Avenue, police said.

Both victims on the motorcycle were taken to UChicago Medicine and listed in critical condition. The men in the SUV were not injured, police said.
The Major Accidents Investigation Unit was investigating.
