A CTA passenger was injured by flying shards of glass after a train window was struck by a bullet Sunday morning in Roseland, Chicago police said.
The passenger, a 46-year-old man, was riding the CTA Red Line near 95th St. at about 8:49 a.m., when passengers in three vehicles on the Dan Ryan Expressway began shooting firearms, police said.
A bullet shattered the train’s window, and the man was hit in the face and body by shards of glass. He was taken to Trinity Hospital in good condition.
Police say the vehicles fled the scene. Area 2 detectives are investigating.
