Three teenagers were shot Saturday night in North Lawndale, Chicago police said.
Officers were responding to a large gathering in the 1400 block of S. Christiana Ave. at approximately 11:30 p.m. when they heard multiple gunshots ring out. A group of people fled the scene and a 19-year old man approached officers saying he was shot in the groin and forearm.
Officers applied a tourniquet and the man was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
A 19-year-old woman also self-transported to Mt. Sinai with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. She is listed in good condition.
An 18-year-old woman was later found with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. She was transported to Mt Sinai in good condition.
Police said Area Four detectives are investigating.
