Kanye West, aka Ye, has added his hometown of Chicago to his global tour this summer, and is scheduled to play a pair of concerts at Soldier Field on Sept. 3-4.
Ticket information has not yet been announced, but fans can sign up for more information on Ye’s website. The shows are not yet posted with Soldier Field.
He also added a July 4 show at the Alamodome in San Antonio, and two concerts in Tampa, Florida, later this month. The shows were added to his website on Monday morning. The links to the Soldier Field dates let fans register for more information, plus state that: “A few lucky pre-registrants will be selected to receive free tickets.”
The short tour runs from June 26 to Sept. 4 and follows his latest album, “Bully,” his 12th studio album, released in March.

Ye last performed in Chicago in 2021, when he presented a listening party for his album “Donda” at Soldier Field.
His concerts elsewhere have been protested or canceled as part of a backlash over Ye’s history of antisemitic remarks, which he apologized for earlier this year with a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal. In April, the rapper was barred from entering the U.K., where he had been scheduled to headline the Wireless Festival in July. Organizers have since canceled the festival.
