
KITE FLY ON JUNE 7 AT FRONTIER SPORTS COMPLEX
Naperville’s 19th annual Kite Fly will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Frontier Sports Complex.
Hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch, the free event gives attendees a chance to view huge kites flown by professionals from Chicago Kite and to join in by flying their own kites, a news release said.

Live music will be provided by Prairie Sky Quintet, Naperville Municipal Big Band’s Big Band Combo and the Neuqua Valley High School’s Gold and Blue student steel bands. Games from Around the World for children will be hosted by KidsMatter, the release said.
Food trucks onsite will include Kona Ice and Frosty Dogs. The park is located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive.
LOU MALNATI’S FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT KIDSMATTER
Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria will contribute 20% of all sales from its downtown Naperville location to Naperville-based nonprofit KidsMatter between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday, June 4.
The donation applies to all dine-in, take-out and delivery sales made at the 131 W. Jefferson Ave. restaurant, a news release said.
As part of the School’s Out event, student musicians will perform between 5 and 8 p.m.
The annual Lou Malnati’s fundraiser to benefit KidsMatter dates back to 2008 when restaurant general manager Dawn Dau and then-KidsMatter Executive Director IdaLynn Wenhold came up with the idea, the release said.

WEEKLY TUESDAY CARILLON RECITALS START JUNE 2
The Naperville Millennium Carillon summer recital series begins at 7 p.m. June 2 and continues every Tuesday night through Aug. 18.
Audiences are free bring folding chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy the performances at Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave., or along the Riverwalk.
Carillonneurs from all over the world perform as part of the free weekly event, which is followed by a post-recital moonlight Moser Tower carillon tour available for $2 in cash per person, a Naperville Park District news release said.

The park district also offers tours of the Millenium Carillon in Moser Tower from 1 to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, May 29 to Aug. 9, and from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Aug. 15 to Sept. 27. The cost is $3.
