3. Warren 11-5 (3): Freshman Sadie Venhorst is adjusting to the varsity team, too, batting .333 in the North Suburban Conference leader’s three wins.

4. Mundelein 10-3 (5): University of St. Thomas recruit Kieley Tomas raises her average to .386 and has hit three triples for the Mustangs, who win six straight.

5. Lake Zurich 9-7 (4): Freshman Camryn Lewandowski is shining behind the plate as well as at the plate, batting .500 over the Bears’ past three games.

6. Libertyville 11-8 (6): Bella Zelenka and Jules Figurelli bat .500 as the Wildcats win two of three games.

7. Vernon Hills 12-7-1 (10): Annie Zbylut bats .571 with three home runs and 10 RBIs to guide the Central Suburban North leader to three wins.

8. Carmel 8-8 (7): Jenae Tompkins is making stellar plays at second base for the Corsairs.

9. Wauconda 13-13 (9): Georgia Reimers continues to grind out quality starts for the Bulldogs, posting a 1.78 ERA in 19 2/3 innings.

10. Lakes 8-8 (NR): Zoey Christian is batting .371 for the Eagles after hitting a home run and three doubles.
