Aurora’s RiverEdge Park has announced the return of its music series this summer, with artists including The Beach Boys, Cheap Trick and UB40.

The outdoor venue on the Fox River in downtown Aurora (360 N. Broadway) took last summer off for renovations, and will reopen on June 20 for Blues on the Fox, including Trombone Shorty and Ally Venable. Audience capacity for RiverEdge Park has grown from 6,000 to 7,500, and the campus has also added bathrooms, redesigned the entrance area and expanded the grass seating.

The pavilion has added screens and introduces a new Movies in the Park series this summer. According to the announcement Monday, additional music acts will be added in the weeks ahead. RiverEdge Park is owned by the city of Aurora and managed by the Aurora Civic Center Authority, which also manages the Paramount Theatre. Select general admission tickets are now on sale at 630-896-6666 and riveredgeaurora.com
