Voters in Kane County on Tuesday cast ballots for contested primary races for a number of Kane County Board seats.

There were six contested races for county board seats in the primary election – four Democratic primary contests and two Republican races. The top vote-getter in each race moves on to the general election on Nov. 3.

In the Democratic primary in District 2, according to unofficial final results, Ellen Nottke received 40.1% of the vote, with Martha Davidson getting 35.9% of the vote and Matthew Dingeldein receiving 23.9%.

No candidate ran in the Republican primary in District 2.

In the Republican primary in District 9, according to unofficial final results, incumbent Jennifer Abbatacola received 53.4% of the votes, with Jeffrey Magnussen getting 46.5%.

Marc Guttke ran unopposed in the Democratic primary in District 9.

In the Democratic primary in District 11, according to unofficial final results, Julie Forbes got 63.4% of the vote, with incumbent Leslie Juby receiving 36.5%.

No candidate ran in the Republican primary in District 11.

In the Democratic primary in District 13, according to unofficial final results, Nicolas “Nico” Jimenez got 61.4% of the votes, with incumbent Michael Linder getting 38.5%.

In the Republican primary in District 13, according to unofficial final results, Ryan Deniz earned 69.2% of the votes, with Anthony Catella receiving 30.8%.

In the Democratic primary in District 17, according to unofficial final results, incumbent Deborah Allan got 58.6% of the votes, with Deborah Willis getting 41.3%.

No candidate ran in the Republican primary in District 17.
