Six individual state champions highlight first team, including three from repeat dual team state winner Marmion.

First Team

Jackson Allen, Yorkville Christian, senior, 215 pounds: Finished sixth in Class 1A. Went 46-10. Won regional and sectional championships. Led Mustangs to dual team sectional.

Demetrios Carrera, Marmion, senior, 144: Captured the Class 3A state title. Also key figure for two-time dual team state champ. Finished 43-5. Won conference, regional and sectional titles.

Cooper Corder, Sandwich, junior, 150: Avenged only loss by winning Class 1A state championship. Three-time state medalist. Repeat all-area. Finished 43-1 this season. Also captured conference, regional and sectional titles.

Kai Enos, Batavia, sophomore, 120: Came up big in winning Class 2A state championship. Finished 35-7. Also won sectional title.

Joey Favia, Marmion, senior, heavyweight: Two-time state finalist ended up as Class 3A runner-up. Repeat all-area. Went 44-6 this winter. Also won conference, regional and sectional titles. Committed to Air Force.

Nicholas Garcia, Marmion, senior, 132: The 2025-26 Beacon-News/Courier News Boys Wrestler of the Year captured third straight Class 3A state championship. Three-time all-area. Won conference, regional and sectional titles. Finished 53-2. Led Cadets to back-to-back dual team state championship. Went 129-8 over last three seasons. Committed to Illinois.

Ashton Hobson, Marmion, senior, 150: Finished second in Class 3A. Contributed to two-time dual team state champion. Finished 31-3 this winter. Won conference, regional and sectional championships.

Knox Homola, Hampshire, sophomore, heavyweight: Finished sixth in Class 3A. Also won conference, regional and sectional championships. Ended up with 39-7 record.

Joshua Kotalik, Sandwich, sophomore, 175: Took sixth place in Class 1A and finished with 46-9 record. Also won conference and regional titles and was a sectional finalist.

Dom Munaretto

, St. Charles East, senior, 120: Four-time state finalist won third Class 3A title. Four-time all-area. Posted second perfect season at 52-0. Finish with career record of 209-6, the second-highest win total in state history. Led Saints to third-place finish at dual team state. Committed to Ohio State.

Cooper Murray, St. Charles East, senior, 215: Went 46-8. Came through with Class 3A state runner-up finish. Also captured conference, regional and sectional championships.

Donovan Rosauer, Yorkville, junior, 150: Finished third in Class 3A. Posted 50-3 record. Won conference, regional and sectional titles. Led Foxes to dual team sectional.

Dayne Serio, West Aurora, senior, 175: Three-time state qualifier capped high school career as Class 3A runner-up. Finished 42-4 this season. Won conference, regional and sectional titles. Committed to Ohio.

Zach Stewart, Marmion, senior, 138: Three-time state finalist. Won second Class 3A state championship. Three-time all-area. Finished 27-3 this season. Captured conference, regional and sectional titles. His win by technical fall clinched dual team state title. Committed to Purdue.
