Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles and his wife, Katie, have placed their five-bedroom, 5,200-square-foot house in Lincolnshire for sale for $2.95 million.
Poles, 40, became the Bears’ general manager in January 2022 after a lengthy career as an executive for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Through an opaque land trust that masks their identities, Poles and his wife paid $2.077 million in late 2022 for the house, which at that time was newly built by Arthur J. Greene Custom Builders. The two-story, modern farmhouse-style home has 5 1/2 bathrooms, a study with built-ins, a great room with a fireplace, a kitchen with an oversized island and a large breakfast area, a walk-in pantry, a mud room, a three-seasons room and a primary bedroom suite with a sitting area and an oversized walk-in closet.
Other features include a finished lower level with an exercise room, a game area, a family room with built-in shelving and a fireplace, and a custom bar. The house also has a four-car garage with an electric vehicle charging unit, a fenced backyard, a professionally landscaped yard and a custom patio with a stone fireplace, a pergola and a built-in commercial-grade grill.
The house currently is listed in an agents-only private network. Private showings are scheduled to start Nov. 10.
Listing agent Jeff Ohm could not be reached for comment.
The house had a $53,744 property tax bill in the 2024 tax year.
